What you should know
LOAN OPTION 1
This option provides students with a comprehensive loan package that can cover: Tuition fees, proof of living expense (proof of funds) and initial settlement funds, to help students settle quickly after arrival.
What You Get
You have access to a loan of up to C$60,000 (depending on your program of choice) to fund your education in Canada. This loan would also cover the cost of living expense and serve for visa application.
What You Provide
You will be required to provide an upfront payment (collateral) of about C$4,500 to C$20,200 (depending on your program of choice, and if you want the loan to cover proof of living expense) to access a loan of up to C$60,000 to fund your education and living expense in Canada. You may also be required to pay a non-refundable application fee of about C$110, if not waived.
Supported Institution & Program
As the facility keeps expanding to accommodate more institutions and programs, only STEM, Skilled Trade and Healthcare programs in select colleges in Canada, are currently supported.
Required Qualification for Admission
Admission requirements may differ depending on your country of origin/residence. But generally, you must have graduated from senior secondary or equivalent. Those applying for postgraduate program must have graduated from a university or college. Proof of English proficiency may also be required if English is not the first language in your country and if the medium of instruction in your previous study is not English. Applicants may also required to have had an educational qualification within 5 years preceding their application. This education can be at any level, undergraduate or postgraduate.
What you should know
LOAN OPTION 2
This option provides direct tuition support for international students studying or planning to study abroad. The loan is usually paid directly to the school and is ideal for students with savings or sponsorship for living expense but still need additional help paying their tuition.
What You Get
You have access to a loan of up to $100,000 (depending on your program of choice) to fund your education in Canada, US or UK. This loan also covers cost of living expense for successful applicants of US schools ONLY. No collateral required, but students must meet eligibility criteria as determined by the loan provider.
What You Provide
Applicants to schools in Canada and UK must be able to provide proof of living cost (about C$22,000 in Canada) for visa application. The loan only covers tuition fee in UK and Canada. You will also be required to pay a non-refundable school application fee that may range from C$100 to C$300 depending on school, and an initial processing fee of $170 to Worldbridge for admission and loan application services.
Supported Institution & Program
Only select institutions and programs in US, UK and Canada are supported for the loan. Supported programs cut across various disciplines and specialties. Masters programs are mostly supported.
